Plane Sweeper is an online multiplayer battleship puzzle game where you deploy aircraft on a hidden 10x10 grid and compete against opponents to find and destroy each other's planes. This guide walks you through everything from setup to winning your first match.

Getting Started

When you first open Plane Sweeper, you'll see the main game board and control buttons. The game has two modes:

Core Game Mechanics

The Game Board

Both you and your opponent have a 10x10 grid. Each grid contains 3 aircraft that you must position strategically. The goal is to discover the opponent's aircraft layout by firing missiles at grid cells, while defending your own.

Deploying Your Aircraft

Before each battle, you must place 3 airplanes on your grid. Each airplane occupies several cells in a distinctive "T" shape:

You can rotate and reposition aircraft during the deploy phase. Choose your formation carefully — a predictable layout is easy for opponents to dismantle quickly.

Tip: Don't cluster all three planes together. Spread them across the grid to make it harder for your opponent to find multiple heads in quick succession.

Firing Missiles

Tap any unexplored cell on the opponent's grid to fire a missile. The result will be one of three states:

Winning the Game

A match ends when either player destroys all 3 of the opponent's aircraft, or when both players run out of missiles. The player with more destroyed aircraft heads wins. A tie occurs if both have the same number of heads found when missiles are exhausted.
